Catch of The Day

The sleek narrow red ship, Thirty Five feet long and half that length wide exited through the warp hole it had gone through having journeyed through it. It hovered through the deep space as the light from its engines glowed. The ship was designed and had been modified for speed and escaping pursuits.

“Destination Reached. Now in Sector 00XY77 Gamma.” A voice from the ship’s computer inside said.

“Run a Bio Analysis of it. Find me anything of unusual habitat that lives on the planet.” A male voice was heard speaking as a figure is shown seated in a chair as he engaged the autopilot for his vehicle. “Report to me once you have finished doing so.”

“Affirmative, estimated time…ten minutes.” The Computer responded and the figure stood up from his chair.

The young male human looking being stood there wearing black gauntlets on his arms and a protective grey vest over his chest. He was of average height, only around five feet and seven inches tall and had short red hair combed over to the side and black eyes as well. A belt was strapped onto his waist with many pockets in it that contained the gear he used.

He was a Bounty Hunter, going after those with a price on their head as well as finding odd or unusual species of animals that would fetch top dollar in both the legal and illegal markets. There were those who would pay through the nose for an S ranked Catch offering millions of dollars for them. Right now in was in a far off part of The Galaxy that wasn’t well explored. Right now he was viewing on the monitor a blue and green planet that his computer identified as “Earth.”

“Inhabitants just over Six Billion, with that many there there’s bound to be at least something on this planet.” He noted as he checked his scanner as he looked on at it.

“Technology’s rather poor,” He noted looking on at the details shown before him. “Just barely able to achieve space travel if you can call it that.” The Bounty Hunter said looking on at it as the inhabitants could only get to their Moon it seemed. “Still, there might be some prizes here worth a pretty penny.” He said and as his computer continued to run an analysis on all life forms on the planet that it contained. There were those who would pay him by the gallon and quite handsomely for a rare life form or artifact that he managed to obtain.

After the ten minutes had passed, the computer began to beep drawing his attention and a outline of a figure was shown and he looked on at it.

“Interesting.” He said looking on at what he had been shown. “There’s something you don’t see everyday. That’s certainly a rare oddity,” He noted as he hadn’t seen anything comparable to it before and stood up as he adjusted his belt where he kept his gear as he prepared himself. “That could be a big score right now if I get it.” He said with a smile and pressed a button on the center of his belt and he disappeared in a wave of light as his ship’s teleporter activated taking him down to the planet below.

Walking on the beach as the sun was setting was a young girl wearing a white dress with blue eyes and matching long light blue hair as she walked on the beach feeling the sand in between her toes.

The girl looked like your average female of short height but there was something unique about her once you looked closely at her, in her hair were strands of long tentacles that looked like hair. That was her main source of combat as she could use them if she needed to.

She was a Squid Girl, a Hybrid creature that lived in the Sea. Her name was Ika Musume and she had come to take her revenge against Humans who had ignorantly polluted and destroyed her home. To make them pay for what they had done to The Ocean.

“It shouldn’t be too hard,” Ika said to herself as she looked on. “Humans look to be morons by the way they look and act from what I’ve seen, the males especially.” She said as earlier she had seen two males earlier club each other bloody over who got to put a liquid on some females body. “I just have to scare them a bit.” She said and smiled a bit thinking of a plan to get them.

As she walked across the sandy beach she suddenly felt a strange sense. “Huh what’s that?” She said looking around. She lifted her head up and saw above her what looked like a shining star. But it was plummeting downwards towards her. The light landed before her surprising her. “What the?!” She shouted bringing a hand up over her face as sand kicked up.

“So you’re the one I was picking readings up on.” A voice said and she looked and saw in place of the light a strange figure in clothes she did not recognize before her. The figure had a device in his hands that flashed and beeped. The Squid Girl looked on at him confusion in her eyes.

“Hmm, is deceptively strong despite her appearance.” He said looking at his scanner as there was an outline of her figure on it giving him details about her. “But her brainwaves show her intelligence leaves much to be desired.” He noted.

“Hey!” Ika protested at him over his remark.

“You remind me of a few girls I’ve met before on water planets, but not with that Aquatic traits never seen a Mermaid with attributes of a Squid before.”

Ika frowned at him in annoyance. Mermaids? She was better than those shell wearing prima donnas in everyway.

“I suppose beggars can’t be choosers so I’ll have to do with you.”

“What do you mean?” Ika asked him frowning at him.

“I’m a Bounty Hunter and Collector, I gather things that are rare and unique and sell them to the highest bidder. Apparently you’re one of them.” The Bounty Hunter responded to her. “There’s quite a few specimens out there that suckers will pay through the nose.”

“HEY!” Ika said angrily. “I’m not some sort of dolphin for you to expect me to jump through a hoop! I wouldn’t even if you did offer me shrimp!” She yelled at him. “Get lost you creep! SCRAM!”

The Bounty Hunter smirked. “Sorry, but a guys’ gotta eat and buy supplies, you’re going on a trip with me whether you like it or not.”

“Oh yeah?!” Ika shouted at him and prepared to attack.

She lashed out with her tentacles at him but he calmly pressed a button on his gauntlet and a green force field covered over him as her attacks bounced off it harmlessly with no effect. “Huh?” Ika said in confusion at what had just happened and flustered did it again but got the same result. The Bounty Hunter suddenly reached out and grabbed one of the tentacles in his hand. “Hey let go!” She protested at him her tentacle squirming trying to break free of his grip. From his belt with his other hand he produced a long syringe with a purple chemical in it and jabbed it into the tentacle. “ACK!” She shouted feeling the needle enter into it when she looked and saw him release it and it fell limply to the ground, and so did the others making her eyes widen as they went limp. She tried to lift them up but to no avail as she couldn’t use them. “W-What did you do?!” She shouted in horror over that she couldn’t use them anymore.

“Just a little something needed for unruly people I come across.” He told her as it was a powerful toxin he had used that would render whatever it was injected into immobilized. “Now are you going to come along quietly or do I have to muzzle you as well?” The Bounty Hunter asked her with a bored tone and Ika gritted her teeth at him and his attitude.

Before she could try anything he aimed his gauntlets at her and fired out from it a bola right at her too quick for her to get out of the way. The swinging weapon caught The Squid Girl around her legs and wrapped around her body immobilizing her.

“Hey! Get this off me!” She shouted as she struggled to get them off her and wobbled and lost her footing and fell down. She squirmed about on the ground even resorting to trying to bite the ropes off of her but couldn’t get loose.

She felt something grab her and she was hoisted up off the ground by him and carried over his shoulder. “Put me down!” She demanded in fury and he pressed a button on his belt.

The two disappeared in a wave of light as his teleporter took them off the beach and to his ship.

Reemerging in the hull of his ship the Bounty Hunter unceremoniously tossed Ika to the floor. She flopped about like a worm on a hook at her predicament. “You let me out right now or I swear I’m gonna kick your-” She was silenced when he gagged her covering her mouth leaving her to only yell at him in muffled tones.

Her dress was removed leaving her clad only in her one piece swimsuit that she wore underneath as he removed it. “Pervert!” She shouted in a muffled tone through her gag in fury at him but he looked on at her amused as he tied her in a different style with ropes binding her arms and legs with the ropes

“Now, be a good whatever you are and stay put.” He told her as he stood over her. “I’ll be back after I’m done scouting.” He said and disappeared again leaving her alone

Ika furious over what had happened kicked her tied legs about trying to get loose. She wasn’t going to be a willing hostage that’s for certain as she thrashed about. She wished her tentacles were still working as she could really use them right now.

She turned and squirmed and wriggled about for how long she did not know, but as she did she slowly began to realize that the ropes were gradually weakening due to her constant thrashing about. She with a bit of effort turned her head and saw that the ones around her legs were starting to become untangled and with renewed vigor continued doing so until she got her feet free from them. She nodded her head smiling through her gag as her legs were now free but she still had much to do to get rid of these ropes.

Rolling herself over she managed to steady herself on the wall and sit upright on her back. Placing her hands on the wall and putting her feet down she pushed herself up getting to her feet, she wobbled for a moment and nearly fell back down to the floor but managed to catch herself thus enabling her to get around.

Ika hopped around on her legs, in an attempt to get around. She saw a bar and going to it pressed her tied up arms and back against it and rubbed against it. Slowly the ropes eroded and loosened against and she was able to get free taking them off of her. “Finally!” She grumbled to herself pulling the gag off a bit happy and proud of herself she got free without having to use her tentacles. “Now where am I? And where’s the exit.” She said to herself as she looked around the place she had been taken to and walked about trying to find a way off.

She passed by a window not paying it any attention but then stopped and walked backwards and peered out it as she looked on at the sight before her.

Her eyes widened to saucers as she looked on at what was before her. She was in outer space and the world was before her, it was HUGE. Bigger than she thought it was. She saw the masses of land before her stretching out and a pit of dread filled in her stomach.

“How am I suppose to conquer The World, when it’s that big?!” She wailed comedically as tears were falling down her face. It wasn’t fair, no one told her the world was so big.

Unaware to her a hand grabbed her by the back of her swimsuit and she was pulled back.

“I thought I told you to stay put.” The Bounty Hunter having returned told her irritation in his voice

His communicator had informed him of her attempted escape and he had dropped what he was doing and returned to his ship immediately to apprehend her. The last thing he needed was her pressing a button and making things blow up and leave him stuck on the planet.

She squirmed in his grasp but like before she was hoisted and tossed over his shoulder like a bag. She wriggled in irritation trying to get loose but he popped her on the butt with his free hand causing her to yelp as he carried her back to where he had put her.

He put her down and firing wires from his gauntlet around her legs that tied around them and binded her arms and legs together as she laid on her stomach. He made sure to double tie them this time around not taking anymore chances and covered her mouth back up. “Now stay here this time.” He told Ika gagging her ignoring her muffled cries of anger her blue eyes burning death at him. “Don’t make me start to regret taking you.” He said and teleported back down to the planet.

Ika struggled to get free but this time she was not able to as they were too tight and there was nothing she could use to get herself free. Fuming and Squawking in fury like that pantsless duck she saw on TV once when she was spying on humans through her gag over her predicament The Hybrid Girl could only lie there and fidget as she could not get away.

Shortly afterwards she heard footsteps and she narrowed her eyes as The Bounty Hunter had returned. “Good, you can actually follow orders. Maybe there’s hope for you yet.” He told with a smirk and she growled through her gag. He picked her up by the waist and carried her to a room with a bed and dropped her on it. He undid her legs but attached the ropes to them to a hook above the bed. Ika laid there on the sheets and mattress as he sat on it joining her.

“You’re young, probably around my age,” He mentioned to her patting her on the back stroking her figure making her flinch. “But you are quite cute and will be sexy when you grow up.” He told her caressing her butt and if she wasn’t in this situation she would be flattered that he thought she was attractive. “You already got some curves on you.” He told her and Ika flushed red in embarrassment at his touches.

To her surprise he suddenly undid the ropes surprising the girl and removed the gag as he freed her. “What are you doing?” She asked as he set her up putting her on his lap as he put a small green collar around her neck.

“I was going to sell you to the highest bidder,” He told her running his fingers through her blue hair. “But I’ve changed my mind, I already found some stuff on your planet that will fetch a fair price so that’ll be what I sell instead. As for you, I’m going to keep you around as you’re going to be my personal maid.” He told her and Ika glared at him.

“Not a-” ZAP!! “EEKKK!!” She cried out as she felt like she had been stung.

“That collar I put on you will zap you if you try anything against me.” He informed Ika. “Not enough to hurt you too badly but enough to teach you not to try anything funny.” He said with a smirk to her. A small drawer box under the bed was revealed and it was opened up revealing clothes around her size.

“Here’s your outfit that you’ll be wearing while you work for me.” He informed her and she looked on at it as it was a black and blue maid outfit. “Go get changed in that empty room.”

Ika with reluctance took the uniform and left to a different room knowing she had no choice but to put it on, but that didn’t mean she had to like it.

After getting changed she walked out embarrassed as to what she had to wear, now she knew how those girls she had been spying on felt when they had to wear their outfits. “What have you done to my tentacles? Why can’t I use them?” She asked him as she saw him seated in his command chair looking at them wishing she could use them.

“The Toxin will be out in a few days.” He informed her. “It’s not permanent and will be out of your system soon.” He told her and Ika sighed in relief knowing they weren’t gone forever. “

She watched on in curiosity at what she saw before her of the screens showing different images. Some of which she had never seen before or could even begin to guess what it was called. “What are all these?” She asked looking on

“Data from planets that I have interest in and been on.” He said and she looked amazed that there was so many planets. An devious idea then sprung into her mind.

(Once I find a way to get off this place and escape, not only will I conquer Earth but all these other planets as well!) Ika vowed to herself.
