No Longer need You

Looking on at the pink haired girl before her, the elder Succubus smiled as she looked on at the new member of her house. Having selected her to join it and pleased that she had met her expectations, Morrigan Aensland looked on at Sakura Haruno.

Sakura looked on at the ruler of the Makai Realm, having accepted her offer to become a part of her house as she was now part of it. “What did you want from me Morrigan?” She asked her as she had called her to come and see her.

“You’ve done well and your progressing nicely Little Blossom.” Morrigan told her. “I think its time to put your new skills to the test, against an old face.” She said to her and Sakura listened in. “Someone who I think you know very well, Sasuke Uchiha.”

“Really?” Sakura said

“Yes him, part because I want to see how you are progressing, the other because I’m sure you recall how he treated you before right?”

“I remember.” Sakura said her voice low recalling what had happened.

“He hurt you, played with your heart and made you act like a fool.” Morrigan told her. “All this time you yearned for him and not once did he ever acknowledge you or even say anything to make you smile and looked at you as though you were nothing but dirt that stuck to his shoe. I’m actually glad that you moved on from him, I may not have selected you to become a member of my House if you still pined after him.”

“I don’t need him anymore, I’m far more happy now than I ever would’ve been with him.” Sakura replied with no hint of hesitation in her voice whatsoever. As her relationship with Naruto filled her with joy and happiness as the two having admitted their feelings to one another and were together.

“That’s good to hear,” Morrigan said to her. “Pay him a visit and let him know that doing what he did, especially to a young girl, is unwise. He‘s currently at a remote village.”

“I’m on my way,” Sakura said and using one of the abilities she had learned from her, disappeared.

A lone figure walked on through the empty road. The black haired figure went on down it with little emotion in his eyes his footsteps softly treading the ground as he walked.

Sasuke Uchiha traveled by himself, having gotten annoyed with the antics of the others he had gone on ahead. He could deal without Karin and Suigetsu’s arguments and it would be a welcome change to not hear them yelling and arguing with one another. He was not in the mood to put up with it.

As he went on he suddenly noticed somebody standing in the distance ahead of him. He faintly could make it out but didn’t pay it any mind as he went on.

But as he got closer and saw them, the person’s shape and appearance became more clear to him and it was someone he wasn’t expecting to see standing there.

“Sakura?” Sasuke said a bit surprised to see her, not expecting his former teammate to be there. However he quickly went back to his stoic form as he stared ahead at her.

“Sasuke.” Sakura called out to him. “It’s been a while hasn’t it?” She said to her one time crush

“It has been.” He said as the former teammates looked on at one another as silence reigned. “Where is he? I‘m surprised the Dobe isn‘t here with you.” He asked referring to Naruto Uzumaki.

“It’s just me,” Sakura answered him. “I see that you gotten a new crew.” She said to him.

“They suit what I need them for.” He said and she looked on at him an amused look on her face.

“All this time you talked about how you needed nobody and yet here you are with a group working with you to aid you. Couldn’t you have gotten the same people back in Konoha?” She asked him.

Sasuke was silent not saying a word before letting an arrogant smirk cross his face. “Have you come to do the same old song and dance again that you did three years ago and at Grass?” He asked her. “To plead with me to come back to Konoha? Tell me how much you love me?” He said to her mockingness in his voice but Sakura

“No, as a matter of fact no. I’m not here to do any of that.” She said to him as he looked on at her.

“Oh?”

“Yeah, I am in love with someone who actually appreciates and loves me in return.” Sakura told him. “And the reason I’m here is to make you pay for what you’ve done.” She told him. Sasuke looked on at her before shaking his head.

“You’re still the same annoying fool as always.” He said and went to move past her.

Sakura stood in front of him positioning herself in front of him. The smile on her face had disappeared, replaced with a scowl that was aimed directly at him.

“Move.” He commanded her but Sakura stood her ground blocking his path. “Don’t make me say it again.” Sasuke warned her narrowing his eyes.

“Or you’ll do what?” She said and he looked on at her amused.

“Fine…” He said and whipped out his sword looking to cut off her head. To his surprise, the blade missed as she was gone, having disappeared before his very eyes. He then felt a finger tap him on the shoulder and he turned around.

A hard knee collided with his abdomen taking the wind out of him and Sakura followed it up with a one two jab combo across his chest staggering Sasuke as she was too quick for him to react or block her blows. Sakura then slammed her open palm into his chest sending him staggering backwards barely managing to stop himself from falling to the ground.

Snarling at her he performed hand symbols and fired a Great Fireball at her, Sakura countered by bringing her hands together and fired a blast that took the shape of a fist and the two slammed into and cancelled each other out. Sakura rushed out of the smoke surprising him at her speed and she stomped the ground causing tremors to erupt and stalagmites to rise up out of the ground aimed at him. Sasuke leapt just dodging it in time when Sakura disappeared and was right behind him above and elbowed him hard in the back knocking him to the ground.

(How’s she doing that?!) Sasuke thought to himself as he landed on his feet as never before had Sakura used anything like that.

Growling in anger he pulled out his sword and slashed at her, Sakura dodged the attacks skillfully each one missing her, and she wore a lazy smile on her face as she did which only made his anger grow as if she was mocking him.

Sasuke went to slash but changed it and thrust his weapon at her and it charged with electricity. Sakura evaded it and threw a kick and to his surprise a spinning pendulum was fired from her when she did, he blocked it in the nick of time with his weapon. Sakura brought her hands up and focusing unleashed a powerful attack aimed at Sasuke who’s eyes widened and just formed a barrier in time to stop it.

“Enough of this!” He shouted in anger having had enough of her. His sword charged with electricity and fired a powerful bolt at her as he fired the Jutsu. Sakura formed a barrier of her own stopping it and suddenly grabbing a tree pulled it up out of the stem effortlessly making Sasuke’s eyes widen and flung it at him.

Just barely he avoided being crushed by it as dust flew up from the impact of the tree large hitting the ground. He panted hard as sweat went down his face and lifted his head up but didn’t see her anywhere. He looked around for her but didn’t see Sakura anywhere. Suddenly he felt something and whipped around

Sakura was right behind him and her fist had been drawn back. She threw it at him but suddenly stopped and then lightly tapped it against his face as she smirked.

Sasuke was sent flying to the ground and rolled on the dirt having been knocked away from the overwhelming force of it. Staggering he pulled himself up not believing that not only was he losing to her, but so badly as well!

“What’s wrong Sasuke?” Sakura asked him. “I thought your goal when you abandoned us three years ago was to get stronger, it seems as though you have gotten even weaker. How pathetic you must feel to be getting beaten by me, someone who‘s so annoying right?” She said throwing his words back at his face. “After all, your family name alone should make you automatically win every time right?”

“You cannot talk to me this way!” He sneered at her.

“Perhaps its time someone finally did.” Sakura coolly responded to him. “I broke off my friendship with my best friend, slacked off my training in favor of my looks becoming a pitiful Kunoichi that couldn‘t do anything, and ignored those who did care for me for what?” She asked “A self centered egotist who I stupidly thought that you were some great Hero. But now I see the truth, all I see now is a pathetic dirtbag who believes his piss is more valuable than gold. Tell me, have you come any closer to achieving your goal after all these years? It must be terrible for you, the almighty Uchiha to be so weak that he’d lose to a fan girl isn’t it?” She asked with a smug smirk to him.

Sasuke reared up in fury at Sakura’s insult his Sharingan activated and charged her intent on running her through with the Chidori. Sakura made no move to dodge the attack as he fired it at her, instead she evaporated into bats surprising him as his move missed hitting and destroying a tree.

(How’d she do that?!) He thought in disbelief that she had done that. He looked for her but didn’t detect her chakra or presence anywhere. Bats weren’t of Tsunade’s repertoire, she used Slugs, how did she do that? Why wouldn’t his Sharingan follow her movements and copy them? Sakura reappeared as the bats vanished.

(Damn this is awesome!) She thought giddly to herself over her powers that she now possessed. (I can kick just about anyone’s ass it feels like!) She thought but wasn’t letting herself get overconfident so she’d make a careless mistake.

“This isn’t possible! How could you use something that I can’t detect?” He shouted furious

“It’s not Chakra I am using, it’s something far more different I‘m using along with Chakra, which means your thieving eyes can’t steal or copy what I do.” Sakura told him.

“H-How?!”

“Like I’m really gonna tell you.” Sakura replied dryly to him. Sasuke rushed at her and she threw a fist at him Sasuke smirked and disappeared replaced with a log and appeared and rammed his knee into her head knocking her back but Sakura caught herself and held her ground. “Now you’re relying on academy Jutsu?” She asked him

“If it works.” He responded to her and attacked her with his sword again. Sakura dodged his attacks as she formed hand symbols/ Sakura disappeared as well replaced with her own log and appeared beneath him her fingers in a symbol and his eyes widened in horror as he faintly recalled what Kakashi once did.

“A Thousand Years of Pain!” She shouted and went to ram her fingers right into his crotch. Sasuke just barely avoided that wanting no part of it. “Huh, if I had hit that right now, I probably would’ve kept you from ever having kids.” She said casually.

“You miserable bitch!” He shouted at her his eyes blazing with murder in them. Sakura suddenly brought her hand up to her lips and blew a kiss at him.

“Eternal Pleasure.” She said and a pink mist surrounded him. Sasuke looked on as he couldn’t see anything right now as the thick mist preventing him from seeing anything.

“Where are you Sakura!” He demanded as he looked and turned his head trying to locate her.

A blur appeared from the mist and a fist slammed into his stomach making him drop his weapon. “Right here.” Sakura responded to him. She then disappeared and hit him again from a different angle and again from another area. Sakura delivered multiple heavy blows with her fist and legs to his body as she pummeled him.

Sasuke feel to the ground but was suddenly grabbed by a hand that wrapped around his throat. His body bruised and battered and not able to move.

Sakura hoisted him by the throat pulling him up so that the two looked into one another’s eyes. Sasuke looking on saw that her green eyes were cold and filled with anger as she looked on at the beaten Uchiha. Nothing but disdain in them.

“Do it,” He dared her reading her thoughts and Sakura tightened her grip on his throat making it harder for him to breathe. “Go ahead and do it.”

“For all you’ve done and the pain you put me and Naruto through, I should kill you.” Sakura told him. “All you did, how you turned your back on us, and that’s right Sasuke, it was you who turned on us, not the other way around despite how you think. I could tear your head off right this instant if I wanted to do so.” She told him and Sasuke’s face for a brief moment turned to that of fear. “I could do it so easily I doubt I would break a sweat.”

She suddenly dropped him and Sasuke fell to his knees and clutched at his throat.

“But I won’t, letting you stay alive is even worse for you.” She told him looking down on him. “You’ll have to live with this you know? Unless you feel like committing suicide then be my guest, you have no hold on me any longer Sasuke.” Sakura said to him. “I am free of you at last, do what you wish as I no longer care anymore about you.” Sakura said  to him. “But threaten me, Naruto or Konoha and I’ll make you wish for something as sweet as death if you do, I promise.” She warned him and he could feel the threat in her voice.

Sasuke weakly lifted his head to look at her as she turned around and began to walk away. “Maybe, just maybe one day you’ll go and pull your head that you shoved up your butt out of it and see what you’ve done, but I doubt it.” Sakura said as she teleported and disappeared leaving the lone Uchiha there by himself.

And her threat in his mind realizing that she would live up to her promise.

“Well done Sakura, a magnificent performance.” Morrigan applauded her when she returned later.

“Thanks Morrigan,” Sakura said to her with a smile at her compliment.

“Strength, Beauty and Intelligence as well as a subtle hint of Savagery, just perfect.” Morrigan said to her. “You are going to do very well as part of my House.” She said and Sakura nodded her head at her. “Now run along deary, I’m sure your lover boy wants to see you.” She said teasing her and Sakura bowed respectfully to the head of The Aensland House and left.

Naruto was walking through Konoha when he was tackled by Sakura who wrapped her arms around him from behind.

“H-Hey!” He said as he looked on at her who smiled. “Can’t you just walk up and say hi like everyone else Sakura-chan?” He asked her with a smile. “You seem to be in a good mood.” He told her as the girl he wanted to spend his life with seemed happier than he ever had seen her before.

“Well for once in my life, I got nothing to worry about.” Sakura told him. “All my troubles are gone.”

“Huh, wonder what brought that on. Now that you’re done with that meeting with Morrigan wanna go get some Ramen?” Naruto asked her.

“Hmm, actually I was thinking of going shopping.” She said to him and he appeared downtrodden and Sakura grinned and leaning in whispered. “I hear there’s a sale on Lingerie, and I want to go and try some out and model it for you.”

Naruto’s eyes widened and a blush covered his face as Sakura playfully winked at him and she turned and walked away swaying her hips at him.

“Wait up Sakura!” He shouted as he chased after her forgetting about Ramen as there was more important things in life.
