Tifa's Mermaid encounter.

The Brown Haired girl looked at the materia she held in her gloved hand. The jewel shined and reflected off of the sunlight that shone up above. The Materia was an aqua color and had a distinct marking on it unlike other Materias symbolizing it as a rare and unique type.

Tifa Lockheart looked up from it and turned her head downward as she looked at the deep water. She was currently standing on the shores of a beach which was said to been the site of a sunken battleship years ago during a war. It had been in the middle of transporting objects across the sea when a horrible storm had broke out and it sank to the sea. From what she had heard people have been trying numerous times to salvage it and raise it but the water pressure was too strong for them as the depths were too strong as it laid on the bottom of the sea. She had heard some illegal markets those similar to Shinra had been were spending a fortune trying to find a way to raise the ship. From what she heard, the ship was powerful and whoever controlled it would be unstoppable on the seas.

“I hope Yuffie didn’t pull anything on me.” She said as she looked at the Materia in her hand that the Ninja of Wutai had stolen and given to her, after prying it away from her of course. It was a new developed Materia that would enable her to travel down to the bottom of the sea and to the ship or so it was said. Not wanting another Junova cannon incident the member of AVALANCHE had taken it upon herself to go down there and see for herself and if possible destroy it to make sure no one could use it. They had fought too hard and loss so much to have to endure another threat.

“Let’s do this.” Tifa said and walked down the shore and into the water wadding through it a determined look in her eyes. She stopped as she came waist deep in the water and held up the Materia overhead and activated it. “Yuffie you better not have tricked me.” She said as it started glowing. The Materia glowed and suddenly a blue light engulfed her surprising her a bit. “Huh? What’s going on?” She said as she felt something coming over her body. Something it felt like was happening to her as it felt her legs were sticking together and she couldn’t move them apart.

The light faded and she shook her head when she noticed something. Her lower body, it had been transformed. Her black skirt and shoes had disappeared. She now had a fish like fin and her lower body was black with patches of white on it like an orca. “Am I a mermaid now?” She asked in disbelief looking on at what had happened to her. She raised the materia up and activated it again and she found herself back in her normal form with her legs back. “So that’s what it does, interesting. Maybe this will be useful after all.” She said and using it once more turned back into a mermaid. “Okay let’s go.” Tifa said and dove underwater.

It took some getting use too but she managed to find the hang of her new body as she swam underwater, and apparently she developed gills as well as she had no problem breathing underwater now. She grinned at the new experience of being able to swim indefinitely without losing air or fear of drowning. She swam through the water and managed to master her new body easily. She looked around as she took in the sight of all around her. It looked so beautiful…

“Alright enough playing around,” Tifa said after a few minutes said turning serious remembering why she was here. “Gotta find that ship.” She said and began swimming going down heading to where it should be at. As she swam down she felt a bit of pressure from the depths and the waves and realized that if she had been a human her lungs would’ve burst by now, thankfully other then feeling a bit heavier due to it there was no other problems going as she swam.

She continued swimming downwards for hundreds of feet and soon reached the bottom of it and looked around searching for it. She looked and swam through the corral and the reefs for several minutes until she discovered what she was looking for.

“There it is, that ship was sank at sea decades ago.” She said looking on at the ship which she could see. Due to a terrible storm, the battleship had sunk and there had been few survivors of it. It was a masterpiece and even today was still powerful and whoever had it would be possessing a power strong enough to threaten nations and countries. Plus it was said to carry a new Materia of sorts that had sunk as

Unknown to Tifa, looking on from a nearby grotto that there was somebody who used the sunken ship and looking on inside spotted her and with curiosity planned on meeting the AVALANCHE member.

“I don’t see a way in though, I don’t think I could squeeze through the holes and even if I could I’d be buried if something fell.” She said as she swam around looking for an entrance for her to get inside. Suddenly she felt as if something was behind her. Turning she whipped around and looked but saw nothing. She then heard a flicker like a tail swishing and she turned in the direction from which the noise came but saw nothing.

“Hello,” A voice said from above and she raised her head up and found herself face to face with a female looking down at her with a smile startling her a bit. Tifa backpedaled and swam away getting a look at who just surprised her.

The creature had the upper body of a woman and had her chest covered with a shirt that showed her midriff. She had ruby colored eyes and long silver hair and her lower body was similar to Tifa’s but it was more in the shape of a fish and it was green colored.

“Been quite some time since I’ve seen a fellow mermaid.” The creature said to her swimming up a friendly smile on her face.

“No, I’m a human, my name is Tifa Lockheart” Tifa explained as she pulled out the Materia she had used. “I used this to transform me so I could come down here.” She explained to the creature.

“What a pretty Materia and you‘re a pretty girl yourself. My name is Eclipse” The mermaid said to her looking at it. “If you’re a human, what are you doing here?” She asked curiously.

“I need to get inside that ship and look around to see if there’s anything there.” Tifa said pointing at the battleship. “I want to make sure there’s nothing there that can harm others. So I need to find a way inside there, do you know a way in?” She asked the Mermaid who smiled.

“Sure follow me.” Eclipse said and swam a distance away. Tifa followed after her hesitantly, although she seemed friendly it could be a trap.

Eclipse swam through a cave and she followed after her keeping the Mermaid in sight. Tifa soon came to a grotto and the Mermaid was seated in the center of it on a rock running a hand through her hair.

“What are you doing?” Tifa asked as she swam towards her and Eclipse smiled.

“Oh, I just figured I’d show you what I salvaged from the ship. These are my collection from the surface world.” She said and pointed at a series of objects lined up. Tifa looked and her eyes widened at what she saw.

Several weapons and Materia were on it. Many of the weapons including a handheld cannon were rusted and useless due to being underwater for so long as there was no danger from them. But the Materias were in good shape as she saw a Thundaga, Cura, Gravija, and others on it. Yuffie would be fainting if she saw all this before her.

She looked and then noticed one Materia that caught her eye. It was the largest of them all and was a deep purple color. Catching her attention she swam to it and looked at it.

“Wow, it’s as big as a fist.” Tifa said and got the Transformation Materia out and compared the two. She wondered what it was capable of doing as she held it up for all she knew it could be dangerous, or it could be something that heals people. She hadn’t seen

“Do you know its name?” The Mermaid asked her.

“No, of course not. This is the first time I’ve seen it. I don’t know what its called or what it can do.” Tifa said to her as she examined the orb bringing it up to look at it.

Unknown to Tifa the Mermaid grinned and swam up behind her took the Materia and lifted it up before Tifa’s face and leaned her head into her ear. “Its name is…Obedience.” She whispered and kissed her ear.

Suddenly the Materia began glowing as if activated. Before Tifa could react to what she just did she noticed it glowing. She stared into the Materia as it glowed and suddenly she felt as if something was coming over her.

Her eyes began having a glazed look in them and she felt herself becoming weaker as she stared at it. Eclipse  twirled her fingers through her brown hair a smile on her face looking on. Tifa couldn’t understand what was going on, but as the seconds passed felt herself succumbing to it “Just relax and stare into it.” The Mermaid said to her stroking her face.

Unaware to Tifa, the transformation Materia she had fell out of her hand as she stared into the purple orb oblivious to her surroundings as stared into it and was hypnotized. For whoever spoke the command it would hypnotize and be under the command of the wielder. And unlike other Materias, this ones’ effects lasted as long as the one who wielded it desired. It had been developed to mind control vast amounts of people at once but before it could be put to use the Storm had happened sinking the ship and it had come into the possession of Eclipse who discovered it one day while exploring the ship.

The Materia fell and sank into the floor, as she stared into the purple colored orb. The mermaid took the transformation one and put it on a shelf with others

“You want to please me, live with me, love me, obey my every command don’t you Tifa? You wish to be mine don’t you?” She said into her ear.

“Yes…Mistress.” Tifa said absently fully under her command.

Grinning The Mermaid leaned over and kissed Tifa on the cheek and took the Materia away. Humans, always fooling around and playing with things before they even knew what they can do. But no matter what was done was done.

She wrapped her arms around Tifa from behind and grinned as she held her in her embrace, what a lovely plaything she had now. The girl was hers and she‘d be hers forever.

Leaning over she kissed Tifa who sighed happily. The Mermaid pulled away and picked up the transformation Materia she had used and by chance came here. She examined it with a smile at it.

An idea formed in her head as she looked on at the aqua colored Materia that had transformed the girl in her arms into one of her kind.

If it could turn her into a Mermaid, what would happen if a Mermaid used it?

“Only one way to find out.” She said and picked it and The Purple Materia up as well and taking Tifa by her hand the two swam out of the grotto heading up towards the surface.

Sometime later on the shore of the Beach Tifa and Eclipse having used the Materia on herself to give herself the appearance of a human lied on the sand Tifa back in her regular clothes and The Mermaid wearing a bikini that the Materia had transformed her into when she used it. The black haired girl moaned as she laid on her back as the Mermaid kissed her as the sun beamed down on them.

“So this is the Surface world? I can have a lot of fun up here with you my dear Tifa.” The Mermaid said as she kissed Tifa on the lips. She had tried out her new legs and gotten the hang of walking on them.

“Yes mistress.” Tifa said nuzzling against her as she continued kissing her all thoughts towards pleasing and obeying her lover.

“And of course with these as well I can create my own personal Harem of Mermaids here as well.” She said with a grin looking on at the nearby town and then down at Tifa. “Of course you’ll always be my favorite.” Eclipse said with a laugh as she look at Tifa who let out a sigh of bless as their eyes met. The Mermaid posing as a human grinned and kissed her and Tifa returned it.

Lying next to them was the two Materias that glowed and would find much use in the upcoming days.
